Claire has brought vast knowledge and experience of playing
and coaching soccer at the highest level to kickz Soccer UK.
Claire graduated from the University of Teesside with a Sport Science batchelors degree and a HND in business and finance.
A major focus of her degree was the coaching development and scientific analysis of soccer players. Claire developed
a unique player notation analysis program that monitored both individual and positional performance during match play.
This program was featured in a number of science journals and used as a model for more recent analysis programs.
After leaving University, Claire joined premier league club Middlesbrough, training and developing young players at both grass
roots and academy levels. Claire spent over ten years with the premiership club working her way upto Soccer, health
and education manager overseeing over twenty full time and thirty part time coaches and trainers.
Claire has
attended a number of nationally recognised soccer training courses including the Eglish football association level two certificate
and UEFA B coaching award. She recently completed the English Football associations Futsal course, recognised by FIFA,
UEFA and the FA as the format for small sided soccer.
Claire played for Middlesbrough's ladies first team for over ten years, captaining the side for six seasons.
She enjoyed a highly successful and rewading time with the club winning numerous league and cup winners medals.
Claire also captained her University team and represented the northern universities team and being a member of the national
university squad. Claire was also selected to play for the northern soccer association for five consective seasons,
part of the national association of soccer.
An impressive playing career also
included a memorable game at English soccer's national stadium, Wembley in which claire was on the 3 - 2 winning side against
Chelsea Ladies.
